White rap through the ages

ash1.jpg

There's apparently quite a hubub in the intertubes about certain comments and/or tweets made recently by one Asher Paul Roth. We don't think his music is any good, but we're not boycotting him.

In any case, the good people over at Vulture have taken the liberty to put together a retrospective on white rappers who've managed to penetrate the hip hop world and popular culture, dating all the way back to 1981 (from Debbie Harry to Marky Mark).

Truthfully, we could care less what color a rapper is, but this particular strain of MC has an admittedly, um, colorful history.
