Chi-Town's favorite Club-Hop MC is finally
back on the music scene with a new single and her debut on the way. Kid
Sister's freshman effort will now be titled Ultraviolet, instead of Dream Date,
the album's original name. Kid Sister also replaced a handful of songs with new
material. She claims that newer material will help the album sound more
"cohesive".
Kid Sister gives her fans their first taste of the
new material with the leadoff single, "Right Hand Hi". While it's
nothing groundbreaking, it's still very refreshing considering we haven't heard
anything from her in many months. It's a funky, high tempo, electro-hop track
about having fun in the moment at a party. A familiar theme and sound Kid Sis'
fans should have no problem getting into. Ultraviolet is due October 6th on
Downtown Records.
